Childs' Farm Made On The Farm Preserving Our Heritage |
|
Here on the farm we have a few crafts that we offer to you. While there may be "simpler or less time consuming ", ways to make soap, rugs etc .we feel they are not as rewarding. We think that is something that is missing in the 21st century. A young boy or girl plays their video game for 2 hours and suddenly they are, "expert", the game tells them so. They do not want to sit at something for a day or two, let along for a week. We try to show them that there are some things that can be rewarding even if you never get to," expert". You never know we might have a demonstration that day , or some hands on work for the children. Just give us a call and we will tell you what is going on that day.

Soap!! We make our own soap, or should I correctly
say, Grandma makes our soap. I can't remember the last time we had to
buy any at the store. We have bars all wrapped and
ready for you to take home.(I highly recommend this product for all young boys that don't wash behind their ears) |
